Scotts Bar & Restaurant in Largs on the Firth of Clyde in North Ayrshire has recently reopened following a major refurbishment. The swanky restaurant is now bigger and more beautiful than ever, and there’s more still to come. That’s because Scotts’ owners have yet to add the newly overhauled eatery’s pièce de résistance: a 1,000-litre centrepiece aquarium.
Set for installation in the coming weeks, the large tank will complement the venue perfectly. Its newly unveiled makeover sees Scotts Bar & Restaurant adopt a tropical, eclectic, but still luxurious feel. A blend of natural wood, on-trend teal upholstery, and copper accents are perfectly set off by an abundance of lush greenery. This greenery even extends to the ceiling, covered, in part, by tropical foliage print.
Elsewhere, the dog-friendly establishment’s makeover adds space for 40 more diners than previously. Also new is an updated and more versatile outdoor space, complete with a fully serviced bar and a retractable roof and glazing system. Great for year-round food and drink, indoors or outdoors, all that’s missing now is the still-to-come fish tank!
